Rita Jo's First Birthday Session! {Pittsburgh Child & Family Photography, Pittsburgh PA}

I was referred to this sweet family from another photography client. I love getting new clients from previous clients! I have met some amazing people in the past few years of doing photography, and it is always fun to meet other awesome families!!

When I met the Kamnikar family at their home, I saw that they have a beautiful backyard which was the perfect backdrop for little Rita's first birthday photos. We did some posed photos but we also just took our time and played in the backyard. I find it's best, especially for little ones, to really give them space to capture those genuine, natural expressions that come out just playing with their parents or the family dog. I also learned that mom is pregnant with baby #2, so we wanted to capture some photos of Rita with mom and her baby bump. Rita was so much fun during her session. I laughed so much that when I left, my cheeks were strained!! She is an absolutely beautiful little girl and I am so happy that I was able to capture such precious moment for mom and dad in celebration of their baby girl turning 1 year old! Happy Birthday sweet girl!!
