Happy Birthday to this sweet little man! His mom contacted me to do his 1st birthday photos and we settled on meeting a Squaw Valley Park. I was excited because I had heard such wonderful things about this park and I was not disappointed! The family comes here often so it had special meaning to them, especially for little Oliver who loves to watch the big kids play on the playgrounds! Summer is the perfect time to make little road trips to visit family, which is exactly what this family did! Their moms are sisters and were visiting for the weekend, so I was asked to take photos of the cousins playing together in the park. We had an absolutely perfect, early fall day. These sessions are so much fun because it gives me an opportunity to get to know the parents-to-be before their newborn session. I think it helps us have an added degree of comfort before their new baby arrives! They are keeping the gender a surprise (even to themselves) so it will be extra exciting when Baby 'W' decides to arrive! We met up at North Park to do their sunset maternity photos and I was just blown away at how natural and comfortable they were with each other in front of the camera. There were some beautiful candid moments that I was really happy to capture for them!
