This handsome little man is now 6 months!  He has grown so much since his newborn photos and I can't wait to see him again for his 1st birthday photos!  We met up at the Walled Garden in Mellon Park on this gorgeous day.  Even though he didn't get a nap that afternoon, he did a fantastic job giving us several cute, sweet smiles!

I met this sweet girl for her newborn photos and I was immediately smitten!  She was super snuggly and sleepy, which worked perfectly for the various set-ups we did for her photos.  Her parents were very hands on and stayed close by to tend to any of her needs.  I just love watching new parents interact with their sweet new baby!

I met these fun boys last fall when I was asked to do their fall family photos.  Mom asked me to do photos of the boys for their birthday and we decided on a fun, casual setting at a playscape at North Park.  I always love these sessions because they are so much fun and its a perfect way to capture pure joy!

Infant massage is a therapeutic interaction that provides endless benefits.  As a certified infant massage instructor (CIMI), I am able to train caregivers on techniques in infant massage. Techniques include movements such as rubbing, kneading, pressing and rolling for therapeutic purposes. There are a variety of positive benefits in using infant massage: promotes bonding and attachment, improves relaxation and release of stress, reduces discomfort due to teething, colic, gas and congestion, increases sense of love, trust, respect and acceptance between baby and caregiver and provides a time to share quality time together, among many other benefits.

Lily was such an adorable sweetheart!  I loved meeting this family and I'm really excited to work with them over the next year for Lily's milestone photos.  I am in LOVE with the photos we were able to capture, particularly the flower photos that will go along perfectly with her garden themed nursery.  

What miracles these little girls are!!  I was first contacted by their Dad last year, not long after they were born, to discuss a possible newborn session.  The girls were born at 23 weeks and were in the NICU for extensive care. Dad knew they would be staying in the NICU for some time so we discussed waiting until they were home to set up a time to take photos.  Last month I was contacted again by Dad as both girls were finally home after almost one year of being in the hospital and rehab. But they were finally both home!  And now it was time to celebrate their first birthday!  We decided on a 1st birthday photo session to capture their accomplishment - and they were such sweethearts!!  I loved getting their little smiles and watching them interact with each other.
