Time to get ready for fall photos!Since moving to Pittsburgh, fall has become my favorite season. Steeler football, changing leaves, and the crisp air....it's perfect! And it's one of my favorite times of the year to take photos!! For this year, I'm will not only be offering a day of mini sessions but also a special offer for full portrait sessions to be used anytime in the month of October. Location: Client's choice within 30 miles of zip code 16059
Includes: 1 hour of photography, all edited images on USB with print rights
Special Offer: $50 print/product credit (prints, holiday cards, canvas, etc)
Fee: $350 ($100 deposit due at time of booking)

First birthdays are special for many reasons. It's a celebration of the baby's first year, but also a celebration of the family's first year together! Whether you're a first time parent or have several other children, a first birthday is a milestone for everyone!! So, when I book first birthday sessions, I always encourage family and sibling photos because you definitely want to capture this moment in time together!

When mom contacted me about baby Ava's first birthday, she knew the exact location she wanted to do the session. They did big brother's first birthday photos in this park and wanted to continue that tradition for their baby girl. We had gorgeous summer weather, which was absolutely perfect for running around the garden together! I am so happy we were able to capture such sweet moments with Ava and her family!!

This was such a fun session!! I was contacted to photograph this extended family as everyone would be in from out of town and together, which was the perfect chance to get family portraits done! Luckily, Grandmother Nanette, has an amazing backyard so we were able to do the photos at home where everyone could be comfortable and relaxed. It was important to not only capture the individual families but also the whole family together. This was a celebration to have everyone together again and they wanted to capture this special time together! What I really love about extended family sessions is that we can capture a lot of variety. We photograph the whole family but also the special relationships between grandparent and grandchild, adult siblings, grandchildren, etc. This is an amazing opportunity to showcase the family dynamic!! And the Eonta family was so much fun, I loved capturing this fabulous and happy family!!

When mom, Bibi, and I started talking about baby Eloise's first birthday session, we had a plan to meet at a beautiful local park. That is until we saw the article about the amazing neon umbrellas art installation at the Three River's Arts Festival in downtown Pittsburgh! They fell in love with the umbrellas and decided this would be a pretty amazing location for Eloise's first birthday photos. And the umbrellas definitely did not disappoint! They were so fun and big brother Will loved trying to jump and catch them! What a fun and unique backdrop for such a special milestone!!

After leaving the umbrellas, we headed over to Point State Park. The kids had so much fun playing around the fountain before we headed over to a quiet spot tucked into the trees. This was the perfect spot for Eloise's birthday photos and she was one happy girl once we got out the balloons! I love the playful, fun photos of Eloise and her family during this shoot. A perfect session to celebrate this summer baby's first birthday!
