Pets for Vets Mini Sessions!

A few weeks ago, our precious dachshund Zahra passed away unexpectedly. While we have been mourning her loss, I find solace in looking back at our last family photos where we were able to include her in these lasting images. Especially a photo of our daughter with her doggie "Ahya" who she loved very much. I feel so lucky that we have these images and it made me think about how important it is to include family pets in these precious family portraits.

This all led me to the idea of setting up mini sessions to include family photos with the family pet. And coming from a military family, veteran's needs are always in the back of my mind. So I decided that 100% of the proceeds from these mini sessions will go to the local chapter of Pets for Vets at Animal Friends here in Pittsburgh. This program allows returning soldiers to adopt a shelter dog, cat or rabbit to help aid them in the healing process they face as a result of their military service.

Anyone is welcome to participate in these mini sessions whether you want family photos with your pet, a couple with your beloved dog, your children playing with your pet in the park or just portraits of your beloved animals, all are welcome! Even if you're not able to bring your pet to the park, come get photos of your family and children for a good cause!

Session Details:

Saturday, July 9th - North Park, specific location TBD
9:00 - 11:00a - 5 sessions available
5:00 - 7:00p - 5 sessions available

For families up to 5 people and your family pet(s) 
*15 minute session
*5 digital images in online gallery with printing rights
*$100 - (But larger donations would be appreciated!) Paid on day of session
